Terms
This is a draft placeholder, not yet in force. It will be reviewed and replaced before accounts or payments open.
The service
Ambitexto sends an envelope of three Spanish texts, at the level you choose, weekly or fortnightly. Envelopes come as a PDF to print and an EPUB for e-readers.
Founding readers
Founding readers pay £2 a month or £20 a year. That price is kept for as long as the subscription stays active. The first three envelopes are free.
To complete: what ends a founding price (for example, cancelling and rejoining), billing dates, VAT, and how refunds work.
Pausing and cancelling
You can pause deliveries or cancel at any time from the app.
To complete: notice periods and statutory cancellation rights for UK consumers.
Using the texts
Every envelope comes with a personal licence. In plain English:
- For you and your household. You may read your envelopes on paper, on an e-reader or on screen, and print them for yourself and the people you live with.
- Not for public sharing. Please do not post an envelope, or photos or scans of its pages, anywhere the public can see it: Reddit and other forums, social media, file sharing sites or public websites.
- Not for sale. Please do not sell, rent out or trade an envelope or any part of it, on its own or inside something else.
Each printed booklet, EPUB and on screen copy carries a copy number, at the foot of its pages and on the back cover or the last page. The number is made from your account (or, before you have an account, from your device), so a copy found in public can be traced to the account it came from.
If copies from an account are shared in public or sold, we may ask for them to be taken down, and we may close the account.
To complete: copyright notice, public domain sources, and credits.
